The balcony offered amazing city views, creating a lovely spot to relax after a busy day. The location's proximity to small supermarkets made it convenient to grab snacks any time. I appreciated the staff's kindness and willingness to assist, especially the woman at the desk who seemed to be always available. However, the room had a few drawbacks. The bed felt worn out, and it lacked a bedside lamp, which would have been helpful. Noise levels from the restaurant below could be bothersome, especially late at night. Also, the lift's midnight closure meant I had to climb several flights of stairs, which could be tiring. The internet connection was quite slow and dropped at times, which was frustrating. Lastly, some of the lightbulbs in the room were out, leaving the lighting dim, especially at night.

The towels resembled relics from a bygone era—definitely overdue for replacement. A major inconvenience with the elevator, which doesn’t operate during late night to early morning hours, combined with fluctuating water temperatures during showers, made for a less than ideal experience overall.

It was just an optimal selection for a brief pit stop in Barcelona with great value for the money. The staff were really accommodating and helped us with our luggage despite us checking out late. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise at night since the area can get lively.
